The Projects Team operates almost as a separate engineering and construction arm, mostly handling SESCO Cement's capital projects. Project Administrator A Project Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The role serves as a key link between project managers, team members, vendors, and stakeholders. Summary of Responsibilities: Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities. Maintain project documentation, reports, and records. Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes. Monitor project budgets, expenses, and purchase orders. Assist with resource allocation and project logistics. Communicate project updates to team members and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and project procedures. Identify and elevate project risks, issues, or delays to the Project Manager.
Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field preferred. Experience in project coordination or administrative support. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
Essential Functions: Strong computer skills include the proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite of products including Outlook Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines. This includes regular and irregular/special tasks. Fluent in the use of travel websites to book travel, hotels, etc. Quick learner, able to learn new tasks independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team player with strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with others in the department.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Full-time position Office environment with occasional need for travel to supplier or customer locations. Ability to handle high-stress situations and tight deadlines.
