AVP of Financial Planning and Analysis - Healthcare

Location: Ithaca, NY (Hybrid)

Pay: $180,000 to $220,000 per year Relocation: Assistance available Shape financial strategy at a leading healthcare organization as the CFO's partner on budgeting, forecasting, growth, and performance. Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of progressive healthcare financial analysis, planning, and budgeting experience 5+ years with Power BI, Tableau, or similar enterprise analytics platforms Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other coding languages Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis skills Knowledge of healthcare finance and reimbursement methodologies Advanced Excel and financial system skills Proven leadership in developing and mentoring finance professionals Ability to explain complex financials to non-financial leaders

What You'll Do: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning Partner with executive and operational leaders to set targets and monitor performance Analyze results, investigate variances, and deliver actionable recommendations Build financial models and pro formas for investments, acquisitions, and new initiatives Perform scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and ROI evaluations Analyze revenue, expenses, reimbursement, and denial trends to improve performance Develop service line financial plans, business cases, and performance metrics Evaluate market expansion and new service line opportunities Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A team Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and analytics Nice-to-Haves MBA or other advanced degree Enterprise-level healthcare FP&A experience Experience supporting acquisitions, divestitures, and service line development
