Role Description:
The Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Boca Raton, FL. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering physical therapy interventions to address pain, mobility limitations, and functional impairments. Day-to-day tasks include conducting comprehensive assessments, documenting findings and progress, providing hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise programs, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise and injury prevention. The Physical Therapist collaborates with referring providers and other team members, monitors patient progress, adjusts treatment plans as needed, and supports safe transitions to home care or ongoing rehabilitation services. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to integrate clinical knowledge into safe, effective treatment plans. Proficiency in Rehabilitation and Patient Care, including assessment, therapeutic interventions, and outcome-oriented treatment planning. Experience supporting Home Care needs, such as developing home exercise programs and providing clear patient and caregiver education. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program. Current Florida Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain professional judgment in a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior outpatient, orthopedic, or neurological rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
