Operational Accounting Assistant 2 Contingent This Operational Accounting Assistant 2 role supports the Unclaimed Property team through data maintenance, customer request reviews, and operational accounting activities. The position is responsible for updating records, validating information, performing data entry, and ensuring accuracy throughout the review process. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role depends on accuracy, timeliness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while supporting critical operational processes.
Day-to-Day
Responsibilities: Support the Unclaimed Property team by processing data updates and reviewing customer requests. Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Review and validate information for completeness and compliance with established procedures. Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, maintain, and analyze data as required. Research discrepancies and escalate non-routine issues when necessary. Maintain documentation and operational records. Manage multiple requests simultaneously while meeting established deadlines. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient processing and workflow completion. Identify opportunities to improve individual work processes and operational efficiency. Support accounting and operational activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
