About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Trade Finance Operations Analyst with strong knowledge of Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections. This role will focus on supporting day-to-day Trade Finance operations while identifying process improvements, enhancing workflows, and supporting system initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze end-to-end Trade Finance processes across Import and Export Letters of Credit and
- Documentary Collections
- Support LC activities including issuance, advising, confirmations, settlements, and financing
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, turnaround times, and risk controls
- Partner with Technology, Product, and Operations teams on system enhancements and process automation
- Participate in QA and UAT testing, including test case preparation, execution, and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with ICC rules including UCP, URC, and ISBP, as well as internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and user guides
- Support invoicing, commission processing, and daily accrual activities
- Assist with syndicated Letters of Credit and complex trade structures
- Provide data analysis and reporting to support operational performance and decision-making
- Support change management, training, and communication for new processes and system updates
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in Trade Finance Operations
- Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections
- Understanding of UCP, URC, ISBP, and trade finance regulatory requirements
- Experience with process improvement, operations analysis, or workflow optimization
- Familiarity with Trade Finance systems and operational workflows
- Strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skillsCDCS certification is a plus
