They work with FM to better understand the hazards that can impact their business continuity to make cost-effective risk management decisions, combining property loss prevention with insurance protection.FM's Engineering Standards team is responsible for the technical content that supports our engineering field operations and client-facing loss prevention guidance worldwide.As the Engineering Standards Processing Manager, you will lead the team responsible for publishing and maintaining Engineering Standards, Operating Standards, and Data Sheets that help ensure technical information is accurate, accessible, and delivered on time.This role combines people leadership, project management, content management, and process improvement. You'll partner closely with engineers, technical experts, editors, and operations leaders to manage complex publication cycles, improve content governance, and drive initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.As FM continues to modernize its content management capabilities, you'll play a key role in advancing new technologies, supporting the adoption of Tridion, and identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve how technical content is created, managed, and delivered.Lead & Develop the TeamLead, coach, and develop a team responsible for engineering content operations, publishing, and production activities.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.Recruit, develop, and retain talent while supporting adoption of new processes and technologies.Manage Engineering Standards OperationsOversee the end-to-end publication lifecycle for Engineering Operating Standards, client-facing Data Sheets and internal technical communications.Ensure content quality, governance, data integrity, and on-time delivery.Manage publication schedules, translation needs, priorities, and cross-functional dependencies to support successful release cycles.Collaborate Across the BusinessPartner with engineers, technical editors, multimedia specialists, and operations support teams to deliver accurate and effective technical content.Align stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive decisions to meet business objectives and critical deadlines.Translate technical and operational requirements into actionable plans and priorities.Drive Innovation & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, governance practices, and content operations.Support the evolution of content management platforms, including Tridion.Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.Lead process and technology transformation initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience leading content operations, publishing, documentation, technical content, or related business processes.Strong project management experience, including managing complex initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering results on schedule.Experience managing technical content, publishing processes, content management workflows, version controls, permissions, documentation, and workflow processes to support efficient content delivery.Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating teams in a collaborative environment.Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Experience partnering effectively across engineering, operations, and business teams.Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Experience leading process improvement, governance, or operational excellence initiatives.Experience with Tridion or similar content management platforms is a plus.Experience and knowledge of XML, Adobe Professional, and SharePoint are preferred.Experience leveraging automation, artificial intelligence (AI), or emerging technologies to improve workflows and business outcomes is highly preferred.Education Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.The hiring range for this position is $83,000- $119,000 a year. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
