About the role

Managing Director, Human Resources ConsultingAbout the CompanyGlobally acclaimed provider of HR consulting servicesIndustryManagement ConsultingTypePrivately HeldAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Managing Director for its human resources consulting business. The successful candidate will be the senior leader, responsible for day-to-day operations, client relationships, and the execution of growth and profitability strategies. This hands-on role demands a leader with strong business acumen, cultural leadership, and a visible external presence, particularly in representing the brand through client engagements and thought leadership. The Managing Director will lead a cross-functional, remote team, and must be passionate about a people-centric, mission-driven approach, where strong business performance and human impact are seen as mutually reinforcing. Key responsibilities for the Managing Director include serving as the executive owner of several large and strategic client relationships, setting and executing growth strategies, and leading a high-performing team. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in professional services, HR consulting, or related fields, who is growth-minded, technologically capable, and experienced in strategic planning, executive-level client leadership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a background of at least 10 years in a similar leadership role, with a strong focus on building and maintaining client partnerships, and a passion for coaching and mentoring in a player-coach environment. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred. The Managing Director must be a strategic partner to the Owner, balancing leadership with a people-first culture, and be prepared to operate effectively in a hybrid and relationship-driven environment.Hiring Manager TitleOwnerFunctionsHuman ResourcesCEO/President

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
