Role Description: The Associate Veterinarian is a full-time, on-site role based at Ard-Vista Animal Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. This role includes performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, providing preventive care and vaccinations, and overseeing routine and complex surgical and dental procedures. The veterinarian will review diagnostic tests, create treatment plans, prescribe medications, and communicate clearly with clients about their pet’s condition, options, and follow-up care. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff, maintaining accurate medical records, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and caring clinical environment. Participation in case discussions, continuing education, and occasional mentorship of newer team members is encouraged.
Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
