About the role
- Provide clinical direction and leadership to all personnel.
- Assure timely, accurate and adequate recording keeping and monitor/evaluate records.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate all program activities.
- Monitor all treatment program admissions, authorizations, and discharges.
- Coordinate services with community and health care agencies to provide a continuum of care.
- Respond to all program emergencies as necessary following all Harbor Light approved policies and procedures.
- Supervision and scheduling of clinical personnel as directed by the Site Administrator.
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding supervised staff.
- Verify and approve hours worked for employees and submit information to the payroll person in a timely manner.
- Give recommendations on hiring and firing of all clinical personnel.
- Review admission and discharge satisfaction surveys
- Represent The Harbor Light in community functions and committees as directed by the Site Administrator.
- Provide for the day-to-day operations of the site in the absence of the Site Administrator.
- Conduct staff meetings, individual supervision, fidelity checks and clinical case conferences/case reviews
- Participate in Detroit QI meetings, System-wide QI and Clinical Supervisor meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, internet, and email
- Certificates and Licenses:
- Appropriate MCBAP Clinical Supervisor Credentialing (CCS or CCS-DP) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Must possess MCBAP Addiction Counselor Certification (CAADC, CADC-M, CADC)
- Appropriate State License (MSW, LPC, ACSW)
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur License and approved by The Salvation Army MVRComplete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
