STARTING PAY: $20.00/hrSCHEDULE:Mon - Fri, 8 am - 4pmPart-time option; Full-time position may be required to work overtime, as neededRESPONSIBILITIES:Be a part of a two- or three-person team and ensure material is accurately and efficiently fed on conveyor lines for the baling and/or grinding machinesIdentify various grades of plastic material and follow internal processes with high degree of accuracyMaintain high level of organization and perform housekeeping on a daily basisSort, bale, grind, and cut plastic and paperFollow all safety guidelinesREQUIREMENTS:Previous construction or farmhand work is preferred but not requiredPrevious fork lift experience is helpful but not requiredPosition requires ability to lift / move 50 lbs regularly and consistentlyPosition may require repetitive motions such as sorting and/or separating materialPosition requires stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, grasping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, standing, dexterity, and crawlingMay require use of powered hand tools such as Sawzall or drillsWork environment consists of being around moving conveyors, forklifts, skid loaders, and machines such as balers and grindersWork environment consists of indoor, non-climate-controlled warehousesSome areas require hearing protectionQualified candidates will possess: Previous experience in a fast paced warehouse/logistics environment (preferred but not required) Experience in a recycling or plastic molding environment (beneficial but not required) Demonstrated ability to effectively adapt to changing priorities
