Position Overview:
This position is a supervising position. This position will supervise day to day operation including production, well work, drilling and maintenance. The Production Superintendent is responsible for actively directing the company’s field operations. This position is responsible for coordinating communications from office to field staff to manage daily field and workover operations, production and costs. This work will be performed with a focus on controlling the quality, cost, safety and productivity performance. Responsibilities/Expectations
Ensure that all field personnel and contractors are following safety and environmental rules and regulations
Prepare and implement programs, methods, ideas, systems and practices for reducing costs while maintaining high level of safety and environmental standards without affecting production
Manage direct reports to ensure they are following regulations and meeting targets
Ensure consistency of policies, practices, and accountability for all fields
Overseeing field personnel in researching vendor selection at the company’s production operations
Assist engineering and other personnel to improve production, facilities and solve problems
Supervises and directs the work of others involved in the production, maintenance, and drilling aspects of the business unit
Ensure good housekeeping is being practiced in all facilities including vehicles, equipment, office space, warehouses, buildings and all Granite Creek facilities
Analyze and problem solve production variances and facility problems or deficiencies
Assist in completion ofregulatory/environmentalrequirements
Coordinate and assist with company regulatory and agency filings
Balance resources across multiple resources
equired to attend all training provided by Granite Creek. If there is a schedule conflict for a particular training session, employee is required to attend one of the other sessions in which that training is offered. Granite Creek makes every effort to provide multiple training sessions per topic Education, Experience and Skills Required
Minimum 10 years of oilfield experience
Supervising experience preferred
Strong leadership skills
Understand oil and gas production, processes, facility operations and mechanical principles
Effective in time management, planning, scheduling and prioritizing multiple resources.
Computer Skills required: Ability to communicate both verbally and written
