Job Description Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-orientedLow-Code / Application Developerto join our team inWashington, D.C. ,San Diego, C.A. , orPlant City, F.L.
This full-time position requires a hands-on developer who can design, configure, and extend applications using low-code and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms, while also bringing hands-on coding ability to integrate, customize, and secure solutions within government environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience with secure application development, a passion for writing clean, testable code, and an eye for quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.Experience Level:MID

Clearance: SECRETResponsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable applications primarily using low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse) in a federal/DoD environment.
Extend low-code apps with custom code when needed (front-end, back-end, APIs) to meet mission-specific requirements.
Integrate low-code systems into secure government environments (enterprise systems, on-prem databases, and cloud services).
Work with customers to gather and analyze requirements, design wireframes, build prototypes, and implement solutions.
Deliver features across front-end interfaces, server-side logic, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Build and execute test plans, unit tests, and integration tests to ensure functional reliability and system integrity.
Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on testability and code quality.
Integrate and manage databases (e.g., SQL Server, Dataverse, Redis) and ensure data integrity.
Use Git version control to manage code collaboration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure, functional, and intuitive applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of total, relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
2-4 yearsof building and integrating applications on low-code platforms, preferably in government environments.
Expertise withMicrosoft Power Platform tools likePower BI ,Power Apps ,Power Automate ,SharePoint,andDataverse .
Proficiency with at least one modern scripting/programming language such asPython ,JavaScript/TypeScript ,C# , orPowerShellto extend and integrate low-code applications.
Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing, such asSQLServer ,MySQL , orPostgreSQL .
Practical experience developing and hosting applications or data solutions inAzureorAWS .
Familiarity withGitfor source control and team-based development workflows.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, debugging techniques, and QA best practices.
Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Understanding of Jira / Agile methodology.
Experience working within DoD IT environments, including IL4/IL5/IL6 systems or compliance with DoD STIGs and security controls.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with a modern front-end framework such asReactorAngular.
Familiarity with a modern back-end framework such as.NETorExpressJS .
Experience withRESTful APIdevelopment, third-party service integration, and data flow orchestration.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools likeGitHub Actions ,Docker , andKubernetes
Previous experience working on government contracts or secure software environments.
Familiarity with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and/or U.S. Navy.
Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
One or more industry-standard IT certifications, such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Amazon
Familiarity with Risk Management Framework and/or Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and procedures.
