Responsibilitiesand
Duties:
Performsitegradingandoverseecivilconstructionactivitiesforindustrial, solar, andwindenergyprojects, includingroadimprovementsandmaintenance, drainagesystems, dewatering, soilstabilization, foundationexcavationandbackfill, utilities, andothernecessarysiteimprovements.
Collaboratewithsubcontractorstoplanandexecutework, interpretprojectspecifications, andcoordinatemultiplephasesofconstructiontoensuretimelyprojectcompletion.
Monitorworkinprogresstoensurecompliancewithprojectspecifications, qualitystandards, andconstructionschedulesthroughregularcommunicationwiththe ProjectManagerandGeneralSuperintendent.
Manageandleadafieldworkforceofapproximately5to25teammembers, includingequipmentoperatorsandlaborers.
Supportthe ProjectManagerinmaterialprocurement, scheduling, andprojectdocumentationtomaintainprojectefficiency.
Enforcecompanysafetypoliciesandensureallpersonnelcomplywithestablishedsafetystandardsandprojectrequirements.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Minimumof10yearsofexperienceinheavycivilconstruction
Provenabilitytoleadteamseffectivelyinchallenginganddynamicenvironments
Strongverbal, written, andinterpersonalcommunicationskills
Demonstratedabilitytomanagemultipleoperationsandprioritiessimultaneously
Commitmenttofosteringandmaintainingasafeworkenvironment
Reliable, self-motivated, andproactivewithstrongfollow-through
Strongproblem-solvingskillswiththeabilitytoadapttochangingconditions
Participateintravelasrequiredtosupportprojectneeds.
