About the role
The Operations Director of Compliance, Policies and Standards designs and oversees FSSA's document management, retention, and data privacy program. This role leads agency-wide governance for forms and records, develops and enforces standard operating procedures based on state and federal regulations, and trains FSSA staff. The position serves as the liaison to Indiana Archives and Records Administration and manages digital record management, policy compliance, and cross-divisional projects across the Family Social Services Administration.
Key qualifications:
5+ years of experience in similar compliance, records management, or policy role
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations governing records, data privacy, and document management
Technical proficiency with document design and editing software and enterprise software applications
Ability to interpret public documentation requirements and implement legal standards and best practices
Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership experience for training and communicating with diverse agency staff
Working knowledge of accounting and budget principles
