Join Our Team:
Thermal Concepts is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for complex mechanical and construction projects. This role is critical to our continued growth and success, providing accurate cost analyses, competitive bid preparation, and strategic support throughout the preconstruction process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead expenses.• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.• Lead the preparation and submission of competitive bid proposals.• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.• Mentor and support junior estimators.• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.• Prepare reports and presentations regarding project costs and bids.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8 years of construction estimating experience.• Experience preparing estimates and bids for large-scale projects.• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.• Experience with Trimble Auto Bid.• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.• Mechanical field installation experience considered.
