About the role
Driving the technical vision for rendering, the full-time Senior Rendering Engineer will architect and optimize the rendering pipeline for real-time interactive experiences, collaborating closely with art and technical teams in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the technical vision and architecture for the rendering pipeline, balancing visual fidelity and performance
Set the technical bar for advanced rendering techniques and evaluate their translation into production-ready features
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope rendering features and communicate technical tradeoffs throughout the project lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience in real-time rendering engineering with a strong portfolio of shipped titles or interactive experiences
Demonstrated experience owning rendering architecture and making foundational technical decisions
Deep expertise in graphics APIs (Vulkan, DirectX 12, Metal, or OpenGL) and experience with major real-time engines like Unreal Engine 5
Mastery of C++ and shader languages (HLSL, GLSL, WGSL) with a track record of writing high-performance rendering code
Proven experience with advanced rendering techniques such as physically-based rendering and ray tracing
