About the role
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORWe are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly connected and commercially minded person to build and lead The Robin's community in Miami. This is not an events role. Events are one part of how we build our community, but the primary responsibility is growing membership, developing relationships and building The Robin's presence in Miami. You should have:3–5 years of relevant professional experience within private membership, luxury hospitality, business development, partnerships, community, luxury brands, art, fashion, design or another relationship-led premium business. A strong understanding of Miami and an existing network across the city's cultural, business, hospitality and creative communities. Proven experience developing relationships and building a client, membership or community network. Strong commercial instincts and the confidence to identify prospects, introduce The Robin and convert prospective members. Experience developing partnerships with brands, venues, hotels, restaurants or cultural organisations. The confidence and personality to host Robin dinners, gatherings and experiences and become the face of The Robin in Miami. Excellent organisation and the ability to independently manage membership, partnerships, programming and local operations. Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining a structured membership pipeline. The ability to work closely with our Milan headquarters while independently taking responsibility for the Miami market. Flexibility to attend and host evening events as required. COMMITMENTWe are looking for someone who wants to make The Robin their principal professional focus, rather than someone looking to add another events or freelance project to an existing portfolio. The successful candidate will effectively become our one-person team in Miami, supported by The Robin's headquarters in Milan. THE PROFILEYou may currently work within a private members club, luxury hotel, hospitality group, luxury brand, cultural organisation, gallery, membership business, partnerships team or business development role. You do not need to be an event planner. We are much more interested in your ability to build relationships, grow membership, create community and represent The Robin. You should be someone who knows how to turn:a contact into a conversation, a conversation into a relationship, and a relationship into a member. Above all, you need to be entrepreneurial. We want someone who sees Miami as their market to build and who is excited by the opportunity to grow with The Robin.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
