About the role
Front Office Receptionist The successful candidate must possess a positive demeanor and a helpful attitude, as this front office position will meet and greet all visitors to the School Board Office. Job responsibilities will include: Greeting visitors, determining their needs, checking appointments, & escorting visitors to the appropriate Central Office employee. In addition, the receptionist will answer telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate person, receive emergency calls and inform schools/key personnel as needed, sort incoming/outgoing mail, and assist other departments with office functions when possible. This position is part-time without benefits. It will be a daily shift of 4 to 5 hours. Based upon candidate availability, this will be either a morning shift, or an afternoon shift.
