Role Description: This contract, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role is based at a charter school in Huntersville, NC. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting standardized assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEP's), documenting progress, and maintaining accurate clinical and educational records. The Speech Language Pathologist will uphold professional and ethical standards of practice while ensuring culturally responsive and client-centered care.
Qualifications: Ability to provide comprehensive Speech Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention. Expertise in treating Communication Disorders, including articulation, fluency, and voice-related speech concerns. Knowledge and experience with Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language challenges. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or strong commitment to obtaining certification. Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site setting. Experience in school, clinic, or healthcare settings is beneficial.
