Through direct customer contact the Senior Project Coordinator is accountable and responsible for managing assigned projects from initial customer requests through completion.Travel Required: up to 25% (must reside in Southern California)Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and organize activities surrounding the project cycleMonitor each project from order entry to completionEnsure that identified issues are reacted to in a timely mannerPartner with all functions, especially production, to organize and support critical aspects to meet customer delivery datesSupport the Project Management team through, Capturing/Interpreting/Inputting/Maintaining Sales Orders; Input/Participation at production meetings; Maintaining/Updating all project information through ERP system; Ship Schedules; Project/Product expediting; Monitoring/Maintaining critical project/program timelines; and Coordinating shipments and deliveriesManagement of: order entry data, manufacturing and shipping documentationDevelop competencies and technical skills focusing on design, detail, quality and engineering of our productsMaintain and manage individual project schedules through: assistance in coordinating manufacturing, shipping, and installationProvide shipping instructions as required, including customer shipping specificationsProvide customer service, sales support and backup to Project ManagementComplete individual store quantity take offs (multi store roll out programs)Maintain and update running inventory reports for team and customer and distribute as requiredDevelop cost proposals for final review by project teamUpload and organize various field reports and other information on internal or external web-based sitesAssist in managing finished goods inventory related to assigned customer(s)Provide customer service and day-to-day maintenance on small accounts/programs, with limited follow up from the Project ManagerMay be required to mentor/train junior level Project Coordination associates in areas such as: Project fundamentals, Customer Advocacy, ERP knowledge and day-to-day requirements of projectsQualifications7+ years working in an administrative/project coordination capacity, preferably in the consumer environments industryMust have a proven ability to create and maintain spreadsheets utilizing MS Office Programs such as Work and ExcelAn understanding of ERP fundamentals is preferredExperience in wood and/or metal manufacturing in an assetArchitectural/Interior Design technical knowledge expertise is preferredMust be able to work independently while multi-taskingAbility to express oneself professionally utilizing both verbal and written communicationsOrganizational skills and a team player mentality is criticalUnparalleled Customer Service FocusProven ability working on multi-million-dollar accounts as a lead administrator/coordinatorHourly Pay Range: $30.00-35.00 per hour, dependent on experience**pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of livingBonus/Incentive Pay: A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.Benefits currently offered to our employees:Medical insuranceHealth savings account with company contributionDental insuranceVision insuranceBasic and voluntary life insuranceDisability insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysStock purchase program with employee discountEducational reimbursementWellness programs and challengesOther supplemental benefitThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
