About the role
Dining Room Attendant Providing service of high-quality meals and with exceptional customer service to the Residents. Must implement proper food handling and cleaning techniques to ensure optimal infection control. Conduct oneself in a manner which contributes to an environment conducive to the provisions of quality resident services. Responsible for set-up and cleaning of the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assist food servers with dining services to Residents as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Greeting and seating Residents and Guests.
- Responsible for taking meal/beverage orders and serving requested items according to established policies.
- Maintain all side stations and dining areas using the "clean as you go" policy.
- Assist with special events and functions as needed.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Assist with orientation and training of new food servers.
- Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
- Attend all in-services as required.
- Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, but not necessary
- Must be able to read and write
- Follow instructions with a positive attitude
- Experience a plus, but not required
