About the role
- Social Media Management: Oversee SPFA’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube channels day to day. Draft platform-specific posts, maintain the Content Calendar to support multiple posts per weekday, and schedule approved messaging.
- Community Outreach: Monitor comments, messages, and mentions daily while responding to routine questions using approved guidance. Support membership engagement opportunities through social media platforms.· Event and Campaign Support: Execute digital promotion of the annual SprayFoam Convention & Expo, Professional Certification Program Roadshows, and membership campaigns – including onsite digital and social media coverage.· Promotional Tactics: Build and maintain strong relationships with media and industry partners while providing insights related to messaging and content, design, production, and distribution.· Digital Communications: Execute multi-channel communications (e.g., marketing emails, podcasts, social media, videos) including production and scheduling of digital and print materials.· Website Support: Updating sprayfoam.org in WordPress including posting news and event details, as well as fulfilling advertising agreements, sponsorships, and resources.· Analytics and Reporting: Track engagement, reach, and follower growth across platforms and prepare monthly performance reports.· Video Production: Manage scripts, recordings, and editing of short-form promotional and informational videos to use on social media and in member communications.· Policy Compliance: Follow SPFA’s social media, brand, and consent guidelines including antitrust requirements that apply to trade association communications. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field/equivalent experience.· 1-3 years of hands-on experience managing social media for an organization or brand.
- Strong short-form writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Ability to learn and translate technical subject matter into clear, accurate social content with guidance.·
