Medicus is collaborating with a reputable hospital in Houston, Texas, with an opening for a Blood Bank Pathologist to provide locum tenens coverage. Opening OverviewLevel I Trauma
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p + overnight beeper call 24-hour weekend beeper call shifts 400-bed hospital
Duties: Apheresis, red blood cell exchange, transfusion reaction review, coagulation and interpretation testing, and hemoglobin electrophoresis review Must be comfortable teaching residents Support Staff: Residents, AP/CP pathologists, lab supervisor, lab manager, dedicated quality team, etc.
