About the role
The Information Technology Support Analyst is a full-time, remote role responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to staff across the organization. This role responds to support tickets, diagnoses hardware, software, and network issues, and implements solutions or escalates as needed. The analyst will install and configure applications, manage user accounts and access permissions, and assist with system updates and routine maintenance tasks. They will document issues, resolutions, and procedures, contributing to a knowledge base and standard operating processes.
Qualifications:
Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills, with experience in common operating systems, business applications, and basic networking.
Solid foundation in information technology concepts, including user account management, system security basics, and remote support tools.
Well-developed analytical skills to identify root causes, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with diverse users, documenting issues, and explaining technical information in simple terms.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet response time and resolution targets.
Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
