About the role
To support the PFAS team within the Chemical Simulation group, the full-time Senior Application Scientist will manage the generative chemistry discovery workflow, serve as a scientific liaison with external partners for validation, and ensure the compounds proposed are suitable for semiconductor applications in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the partner validation loop by defining target specifications and qualification criteria with external co-development partners
Run the discovery workflow, assess predicted compounds, and produce decision-ready shortlists for partner validation
Translate experimental feedback from partners into actionable technical improvements for the team
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
3+ years of post-PhD experience in industrial or applied R&D developing high-purity performance materials
Familiarity with performance and EHS specifications for process materials qualification
Proficiency in Python for running computational discovery workflows
Experience bridging experimental results and computational modeling in application-driven projects
