About the role

Overview As a Data Engineer in Georgia-Pacific’s IT Data & Analytics team, you will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures that enable the collection, transformation, and analysis of manufacturing data. You will support the Corrugated business within the Packaging & Cellulose segment, ensuring data availability, quality, and usability for BI. You will collaborate across IT and business partners to enable timely, data-driven decision making, shaping analytics solutions at scale. Compensation / Benefitsmedical, dental, visionflexible spending accountsretirement planpaid vacation/time offeducational assistancepaid parental leave and adoption assistance Responsibilities Develop BI and data warehousing solutions to meet business needs Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot existing ETL jobs and Power BI Reports Troubleshoot, fix and explain failures/errors in data/ETLAdopt best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes Maintain and troubleshoot existing BI Models to ensure continuous operation Collaborate with IT teams such as infrastructure support, networking, DBAs, delivery and platforms team Participate in scheduled Agile Ceremonies Key requirements Experience collaborating across teams, mentoring and motivating others while influencing alignment and strong practices Experience designing, implementing and maintaining large-scale ETL and data engineering solutions Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring)Experience in BI & Semantic Layer Development, Reporting & Visualization Experience in Data Warehousing and Dimensional data modeling Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa transfer or sponsorshipcollaboration across teamsmentoring and motivating othersinfluencing alignment and best practicesETL design and data engineeringdata pipelines ingestion/transformation/orchestration/monitoringBI and semantic layer development
