Roll Forming Machine Operator
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (4x 10 Schedule 3-Day Weekends!)
Pay: $18.00/hr (Increases to $20.00/hr after 90 days)
Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, mechanical-minded individual to join our manufacturing team as an HVAC Metal Roll Operator. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor equipment used to produce custom metal rolls and ductwork components for the HVAC industry. If you have experience using hand tools, and working in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment, this is a great opportunity with predictable hours and clear pay advancement.
Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up, and monitor roll-forming machinery Material Handling: Load sheet metal coils/sheets into feed systems and inspect raw materials for quality. Mechanical Adjustments: Perform routine mechanical adjustments, blade alignments, roller clearances, and basic maintenance to ensure precision specs. Quality Control: Measure finished metal rolls and tape measures to ensure alignment with specifications. Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area and strictly adhere to company safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Qualifications & Skills: Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands-on mechanical skills with experience using hand tools, and measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers).
Experience: 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly. Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, good attendance, and a team-player attitude. Schedule & Pay Structure
Hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday (Enjoy every Friday off!).
