About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As an OTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement personalized therapy plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting with the development and implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans Providing direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care for our residents Adhering to established protocols and standards for occupational therapy services
Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a post-acute care setting Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify resident needs and goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these needs and goals Implement occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities Document resident progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team, residents, and families
