Athletics Scorekeeper

About the role
We're hiring several scorekeepers to assist with the upcoming seasons of team sports! As a scorekeeper, you'll be responsible for tallying score, tracking innings, fouls, and any rule violations - primarily for the baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball games. Assistance may be required for tournaments as well. You'll be a gameday champion, responsible for setting up necessary equipment for league participants.
In a typical shift you will...
Keep score for athletic leagues, keeping a scorebook (paper or electronic) and running a scoreboard
Assist in setting up gyms and fields for league play
Fill out accident or incident report forms as needed
Assist with the administration of special events and league-related activities, such as equipment distribution, uniform distribution, and league team placements
Communicate issues and problems to Supervisors/Duty Officers and/or full-time Athletic staff
Must be at least 16 years of age.
If you have any knowledge of team sports and their rules, that's preferred, but not a requirement.
