The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing national sales strategies, regional business plans, and revenue targets. This role involves leading, recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team of regional sales leaders and representatives, as well as establishing performance metrics, territory plans, and coaching programs. The Vice President of Sales will also be tasked with building and expanding distributor partnerships, developing relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, and driving market access initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of the company's spinal implant solutions. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' medical device sales experience in the United States, with at least 3 years in a direct sales leadership role. A strong track record of exceeding sales targets, recent experience in spinal implants or related orthopedic medical devices, and knowledge of spine procedures and implant technologies are essential. The role requires the ability to manage both direct sales teams and independent distributors, as well as a demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong business planning, forecasting, negotiation, and CRM management skills, and be adept at introducing new technologies and opening new markets. Excellent communication, executive stakeholder management, and the ability to travel extensively are also necessary.
