About the role
Guiding adult learners in developing essential college writing and research skills, the part-time Adjunct Writing Instructor will facilitate online courses, applying educational technology and biblical principles while providing feedback and support throughout the writing process.
Key responsibilities:
Facilitate learning in an online adult education environment
Prepare and manage course materials, including posting assignments and announcements
Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain communication through various platforms
Required qualifications: Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in English
Preferred:
Doctorate in English or related field with relevant graduate coursework
Experience teaching adult learners using an online learning management system
Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools
Commitment to building and cultivating diversity in educational settings
