About the role
- Repair and rebuild AC & DC electric motors and electro-mechanical equipment
- Dynamically balance rotor and armature assemblies
- Replace and repair mechanical components including gears, seals, bearings, and brushes
- Operate specialized testing and repair equipment
- Utilize overhead cranes and medium-voltage test panels
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records
- Operate forklifts and follow all safety protocols
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet throughout the day
- Strong close vision and attention to detail for precision work
- Competitive Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
