Technical Manager

Responsibilities: Responsible for assignment, scheduling, and completion of all services (including paperwork) delivered by field technical workforce. Regularly visits key accounts, attends company meetings, and sales conferences. Measures, monitors, and reports on the productivity of the technical workforce. These measurements include, number of service incidents per day/week/month, revenue and cost per technician, and other productivity measures. Provides technical assistance to field personnel and Field Supervisors and also learns, supports, and provides training for new technology. Monitors assigned technical personnel’s customer satisfaction, quality and competence levels. Assists with new hire training. Works closely with Quality Control and Training to ensure procedures, work instruction, and equipment are current.

Qualifications: 5-10+ years of supervisory experience. 5-10 years of technical knowledge of testing, certification, decontamination, calibration, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication ability. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products. Proven track record of effective management and supporting multiple departments and sales efforts.

Position Requirements: Position is located in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. May need to perform field work and employee training as part of this position. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing).Full-time/Exempt

Working hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Travel required - up to 50%
