About the role

The Associate Art Director will work closely with the Creative Director and Account team to develop communications and creative tactics for Managed Markets and Patient Support Programs. This role partners with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives and strategic priorities into compelling creative solutions. The Associate Art Director will lead design projects from concept through execution and/or disk release, developing innovative design concepts that align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages to stakeholders and target audiences. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to support creative recommendations with logic, creativity, and passion. Key Responsibilities Develop clear, concise art direction that is visually engaging, strategically sound, and appropriate for the subject matter and target audience. Take an active interest in client objectives and business strategies while developing a strong understanding of clients, products, and target audiences. Translate business and marketing objectives into thoughtful design solutions that effectively communicate key messages and reinforce overall brand identity. Conceptualize and develop innovative creative solutions across presentations, print collateral, digital, and web. Lead design projects from concept through final execution and/or disk release, ensuring work meets quality, timeline, and budget requirements. Collaborate closely with Creative, Account, Planning, and other cross-functional teams to develop effective creative strategies and solutions for client initiatives. Effectively present and articulate design concepts and creative rationale to internal teams and clients. Maintain meticulous attention to detail and deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect designs that adhere to industry standards, best practices, and brand guidelines. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget. Adapt to changing priorities, project requirements, and stakeholder feedback, incorporating revisions thoughtfully and efficiently. Identify design challenges and develop creative, strategic solutions to overcome obstacles and achieve project objectives. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, design tools, and best practices through self-directed learning, training, and participation in relevant design communities and events. Knowledge & Skills Requirements Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to approach design challenges from multiple perspectives, develop innovative solutions, and clearly communicate creative rationale. Strong ability to understand client needs and translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions. Advanced knowledge of design principles, including design theory, typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy. Demonstrated ability to execute complex design projects with a high level of quality, attention to detail, and consideration for project scope and budget. Strong conceptual and visual design skills with the ability to develop creative work that is both strategically relevant and visually engaging. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present and defend creative concepts effectively. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple, and at times complex, projects across various stages of the project lifecycle. Self-motivated, passionate about design, open-minded, and collaborative, with the ability to approach challenges with strategic and creative thinking. Strong understanding of marketing principles; healthcare marketing experience preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
