Project Context We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AxiomSL (Controller View) Business Analyst with deep functional expertise in FR 2052a (Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report) and FR Y-15 (Banking Organization Systemic Risk Report). This role will lead a comprehensive GAP analysis of the current data landscape against FR 2052a and FR Y-15 requirements, identifying data deficiencies and guiding stakeholders through data sourcing, mapping, and transformation strategy. Business Analysis and IT Coordination Determine \"as-is\" vs. \"to-be\" data landscapes, identifying missing data fields, granularity issues, and data quality gaps for both reports Partner with Finance business stakeholders to build a strong understanding of the bank's business lines and products Provide clear, actionable guidance to data architects and upstream systems on the specific data elements requiring sourcing (transactional, counterparty, collateral, and balance sheet data)Translate complex Federal Reserve regulatory instructions into clear Business and Functional Requirement Documents (BRD/FRD)Develop detailed data mapping specifications from source systems to the Axiom Operational Data Store (ODS) and consolidated data model
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within a Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB)Hands-on experience navigating AxiomSL (Controller View)At least one full lifecycle implementation of FR 2052a or FR Y-15 at a major banking institution Strong knowledge of financial products Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, and large dataset management Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives to completion Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
