Annual compensation: USD $132,000–$165,000 + equityDEVVISION is recruiting on behalf of an enterprise software company building AI-powered automation into its platform. As a Senior Engineer on the Platform Infrastructure team, you will design and build the systems that bring AI agents into production. Your work will span agent integrations, backend services, user interfaces, and the safety and governance controls required for reliable enterprise use. You will connect agents to the platform through APIs, data connectors, and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, while helping users discover and interact with agents suited to their business workflows.
What you will do: Design and build platforms for running AI agents, connecting them to existing systems through APIs, data connectors, and custom MCP servers. Implement and maintain security, safety, and governance guardrails that support reliable and compliant enterprise use. Build systems and interfaces that help users discover, evaluate, and select AI agents for their workflows. Develop frontend applications using React and TypeScript, alongside backend services using Node.js and Python. Participate in client-facing technical discussions, demonstrate solutions, and incorporate implementation feedback and real-user monitoring insights. Help shape cloud infrastructure and database strategies to support the platform’s long-term development. What you bring 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack applications and distributed systems.2+ years designing or deploying AI-powered applications using one or more established agent frameworks, such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Microsoft Semantic Kernel, or the OpenAI Agents SDK.Practical experience building and deploying AI agents at scale in production. Experience deploying MCP servers as an integration and enablement layer for production agents. An understanding of the operational challenges of agentic systems and hands-on experience implementing safety and governance controls. Proficiency in both Node.js and Python, including reliable API development and data connector integrations. Strong React and TypeScript experience, with the ability to build intuitive interfaces for interacting with AI agents. Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge and experience managing environments that support production applications and agents. Technology environment React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, APIs, data connectors, MCP servers, agent frameworks, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Google Cloud.
