Job Overview: We are seeking a currently licensed Colorado Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team. This role is primarily field-based: you'll work alongside our survey technician performing boundary and tract surveys. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kiowa, CO.
Responsibilities: Perform boundary and tract surveys on rural and agricultural land parcels, working in the field alongside our survey technician. Review and reduce field data collected during surveys. Conduct property research to resolve boundary questions and disputes. Certify and sign survey results in accordance with Colorado licensing requirements. Stay current on Colorado surveying standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Colorado — required. Bachelors degree in Land Surveying or related field is a plus Comfortable working outdoors and in the field on a regular basis, in all weather and terrain typical of tract/rural land surveying. Strong understanding of boundary law, property research, and rural/agricultural land surveying practices. Ability to work well as part of a team alongside our office manager and survey technicians. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Valid driver's license. Artificial Intelligence We use artificial intelligence to review and screen applications and materials.
