Architectural Designer | Hospitality Focus | Award Winning NYC Design StudioIf you've spent the last few years designing hotels, restaurants and cultural spaces, and you want your work to carry real narrative and craftsmanship, this opportunity might well be for you. An internationally celebrated architecture and design studio in Manhattan is growing its New York team. They need an Architectural Designer with strong hospitality experience and built work to show for it. You'll take projects from first sketch through to built reality and work side by side with interior designers and project managers within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and document architectural concepts and space planning
  • Sketch early ideas and build collaborative 3D models in Rhino and Revit covering plans, RCPs, elevations and FF&EProduce visualizations from Rhino models, finished in Photoshop
  • Work closely with the interiors and project management teams to protect design intent all the way to completion
  • What you'll bring 5+ years in architecture or interior design
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or design
  • Demonstrable hospitality project experience
  • Experience across every phase from concept through CA, with built projects in your portfolio
  • Strong Rhino, Revit and Adobe Creative Cloud skills
  • Rendering in V‑Ray or Enscape
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes, millwork and FF&E is a real plusNYC RA preferred but not essential
  • Organised, detail focused and at ease with fast moving deadlines
  • The package$85,000 to $125,000 base plus bonus

This interdisciplinary practice has over 300 people and is headquartered in New York, with offices across the US and Europe. Best known for their hospitality work; the studio blends architecture, cutting edge technology and high end craftsmanship, with each and every project originating from it's own bespoke narrative.
