Job Description: Job Description Magnetic Particle Inspector - Level IIFull time Onsite San Fernando CA areaA growing nondestructive testing facility is seeking a Magnetic Particle Inspector - Level II to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and high quality inspection work.
Responsibilities: Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) using wet fluorescent, dry powder, yoke, and bench methods Set up, calibrate, and verify MPI equipment Interpret indications and evaluate parts against acceptance criteria Document inspection results clearly and accurately Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure timely processing Maintain compliance with customer specifications and industry standards Support Level I personnel and uphold safety and procedural requirements
Requirements: Current MPI Level II certification (ASNT SNT TC 1A, NAS 410, or equivalent)Hands on experience performing MPI in aerospace, machining, or metal finishing environments Strong understanding of ferromagnetic materials and discontinuity types Ability to read and follow technical procedures and customer requirements High attention to detail and commitment to quality Company Description Our client is a long established nondestructive testing and metal finishing facility located in the San Fernando Valley, CA.
