About the role

Remote Cold-Calling Appointment Setter – HVAC Assessments Job Overview Summit Air Heating & Cooling is seeking confident, reliable remote appointment setters to contact homeowners and schedule in-home assessments for energy-efficient heating and cooling upgrades. In this role, you will make outbound cold calls to homeowners who may be eligible for utility-sponsored rebates or incentives to replace traditional oil- or gas-fired heating equipment with energy-efficient mini-split heat pump systems. Your responsibility is not to sell an HVAC system over the phone. Your goal is to explain the purpose of the program, ask basic qualifying questions, and schedule an appointment for an assessor to evaluate the home and determine which incentives the homeowner may qualify for. This is a high-volume cold-calling position. Successful candidates must be comfortable speaking with new people, handling objections, following a script, and consistently asking for the appointment.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
