Role: Mechatronics Engineer
Location: NYC, NY – Onsite
Rate: $36/hr on W2 without benefits Contract role
Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join one of our clients. This role will support various ongoing projects that require hardware for in-lab data collection, including the construction, installation, and maintenance of EMG devices. As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in hardware construction, installation, testing, and providing in-lab support. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the success of our client's projects. The key requirements for this position are:Roles and Responsibilities- CAD and hardware design- Electronics, sensors, and data sampling.- Light data analysis / python coding skills- Independent problem solving, taking initiativeQualifications: - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechatronics engineering.- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Mechatronics related fields.- Strong knowledge of hardware construction, installation, data collection, data analysis, debugging, and testing.- Experience with scripting languages, with a preference for Python.- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and foster effective cooperation.- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.- Independent problem solving, taking initiativeSkills Required: - Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and programming languages (C, C++ preferred).- Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar.- Familiarity with Jenkins and Python.
