About the role
- Project Management
- Lead construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project performance and proactively resolve issues
- Conduct site visits and ensure project milestones are achieved
- Estimating & Preconstruction
- Perform quantity takeoffs and estimate preparation
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Participate in bid reviews and proposal development
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Contract Administration
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and plan revisions
- Oversee change order preparation and negotiations
- Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting
- Monitor procurement activities and material deliveries
- Safety & Quality
- Promote a culture of safety throughout all project phases
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements
- Support quality control initiatives and client satisfaction goals
- Required Qualifications 5+ years of construction project management experience 5+ years of experience managing RFIs, submittals, and plan revisions 5+ years of experience reviewing and interpreting construction plans and specifications 5+ years of experience with estimating and quantity takeoffs
- Experience managing change orders and project documentation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with clients, government agencies, field personnel, and executive leadership
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities
