Job Title: Sr. Project Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Long Term project up to 2028Sr. Project Engineer – Solar/BESS | Charlotte, NCClient is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer / Engineer III to support utility-scale Solar, BESS, and Solar + BESS projects. Lead technical engineering activities from design through construction, commissioning, and turnover. Coordinate engineering teams, EPC contractors, vendors, consultants, and field personnel. Resolve technical issues and provide engineering guidance throughout project execution. Support project scope, schedule, quality, cost, interfaces, and risk management.
Requirements: B.S. in Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience. Senior Engineer: 5+ years with PE or 6+ years without PE.
Preferred: Utility-scale solar/BESS, electrical construction, EPC, commissioning, and project management experience. Field-based role requiring approximately 25–50% travel to project sites across North Carolina.
