About the role
Position Overview:
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for guiding maintenance personnel, improving equipment reliability, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring production assets operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical skills, a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, and experience leading teams in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance team members. Coordinate daily maintenance activities to support production goals and minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related equipment issues. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment performance and reliability. Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other departments to implement equipment and process improvements. Monitor maintenance metrics and drive corrective actions to improve plant performance. Support maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory control, and work order management. Assist with equipment installations, facility upgrades, and capital improvement projects. Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment. Strong troubleshooting skills involving industrial equipment and facility systems. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies. Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with PLCs, automation equipment, and industrial controls is preferred. Experience utilizing CMMS or other maintenance management systems. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
