About the role
- Reviewing drawings and technical specifications for project requirements.
- Estimate material, labor, tooling, and overhead costs for projects.
- Working with different departments to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Source and evaluate materials, suppliers, and subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations to clients.
- Assist in project planning to ensure feasibility and profitability.
- Work with customers regarding project scope, pricing, and lead times.
- Previous experience as a sheet metal estimator
- Experience reading technical drawings.
- Experience with cost estimation software.
- Machining experience would be a plus
- Hours are:
- Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pmPay is $32 an hour based on experience
