Job Description: Openwork is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Production Operator for a chemical manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, handling raw materials, completing production documentation, and helping ensure products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, attentive to detail, dependable, and comfortable working in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and set up production equipment, including blenders and mixers Produce chemical systems according to customer orders and production requirements Set up and reset conveyors for production runs Load and unload raw materials while following safety procedures Complete production worksheets and maintain accurate documentation Assist with production activities including forklift operation, marking, cutting, and foaming Assist with preventive maintenance activities Work closely with Production and Quality Control teams to maintain product standards Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines Qualifications 1–3 years of chemical production experience preferred Knowledge of safe practices related to chemical handling Strong attention to product quality and accuracy Understanding of chemical interactions and their impact on product quality Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety requirements Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Forklift experience is a plus
Job Details Pay: $17.00/hour
