Carpet Cleaning Crew Leader Details: Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 / hour Full Time work available Various shifts available The Carpet Cleaning Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team while working directly on carpet cleaning trucks at residential and commercial locations. This position operates professional cleaning equipment, assigns daily tasks, ensures jobs are completed safely and efficiently, maintains quality standards, and provides guidance and training to crew members. The Lead will also communicate with customers, maintain equipment and supplies, and help ensure each job is completed to company standards. Previous carpet cleaning experience and leadership ability are required. Pay ranges from $16–$23/hr based on experience. Candidates must be 21+, have a valid driver's license, and pass a drug/alcohol test and background check. The role is physically demanding, with employees on their feet most of the day, going up and down stairs, pulling hoses, and carrying tools (8–10 lbs). Uniform shirts are provided; employees must wear comfortable, hole-free bottoms and slip-resistant, closed-toe shoes. On-call rotations every other night and weekend. Employees drive themselves to locations and receive IRS-approved mileage reimbursement. They must track miles driven, submit the form for manager approval and signature. Cleaning Crew Leader Qualifications: Previous carpet cleaning experience required; leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred. Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. Must be comfortable operating carpet cleaning equipment and leading a team in the field. Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, squatting, and extended standing. Must successfully pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
