About the role

Fed Writers, Inc. seeks a Research Analyst to synthesize radar datasets from NSSL, quality-control data, and build a linked database of tornado observations. This role directly informs understanding of tornado evolution and how it interacts with the environment. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Norman, OK, with 90% on site at NSSL and some field deployments. Candidates should have an MS degree (PhD preferred) and extensive experience with weather radar data and scientific publishing.
