Develops and achieves annual sales budgets, targets high-margin opportunities, and identifies projects with strong long-term service potential. Provides leadership on booked projects, supports team-based sales efforts, and delivers consultative, solution-focused sales to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities: Achieve annual sales bookings and gross margin targets. Conduct direct end-user sales and pursue selective plan-and-spec work. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Create and execute marketing and account development plans. Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and project scopes. Coordinate effective project turnover and support operations during execution. Follow up on active and completed projects to ensure satisfaction. Provide product demonstrations and stay current with industry technologies and codes. Attend required meetings, complete reports, and maintain updated quote logs. Monitor project profitability, change orders, and job costs. Develop annual sales budgets and maintain a monthly target project plan. Support collections when needed. Required Skills & Traits: Strong sense of urgency and follow-through. Organized, reliable, and goal-oriented. Effective communicator with strong presentation skills. Technically proficient and quick to learn. Creative, persuasive, and able to build strong working relationships.
Education & Experience: Degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field. Minimum 7 years of technical sales experience. Experience with controls (PLC, DCS, HMI) and HVAC systems highly beneficial. Understanding of process/system efficiency and systems integration preferred.
