Job Description: Lawn Maintenance Crew TechnicianProgressions For this position: Depending on skillset determined on working interview will decide where employee starts on the progression scale. Groundman Level 1: $13.00 Groundman Level 2: $14.25 Mower Tech Level 1: $15.50 Mower Tech Level 2: $16.75LM Crew Lead: $18.00 - $19.25 LM Crews Supervisor: $20.00 - $25.00LM Operations Manager: $25.00 - $30.00 Job Summary:

Maintains lawns & grounds of property, including mowing grass, weed eating, edging, blowing, & trimming and planting trees, shrubs and plants. Logging job completions and details into software. General Accountabilities:
Maintains lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features.
Mows and edges lawns, using power mowers, push mowers, and/or edgers.
Cares for lawns by laying mulch, removing weeds, and trimming trees and plants.
Maintains flower beds by pruning, weeding and watering as needed.
Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
Plants flowers and trees.
Mixes and sprays or spreads fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees.
Maintains the ground equipment which may include repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
Operates powered lawn equipment, such as mowers, weed whackers, electric clippers, and pruning saws.
Maintains the ground equipment which may include repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
Reports any maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions or repairs to supervisor.

Job Qualifications

Experience: Some previous work-related experience preferred. Skills:

Operating mowers (Zero Turn, Stand On, & Push Mowers) Operating Truck with Long Trailers (Including Backing) Operating Weed Eaters, Edgers, Blowers, Hedge Trimmers, & Sprayers Managing Crew: High levels of energy, great attitudes, and hold team accountable to rules and regulations, and vision of company and their progressions
